Just about every e-cig review site online has a v2 cigs reviews page. Nine times out of ten it’s listed at the #1 spot.  There is a reason that they are at the top of all the rankings for these review sites. The kits come with an array of options such as strengths, flavors, the number of batteries per kit, etc…  But it doesn’t matter which kit you buy because once you try the their ecigs you will more than likely never try another brand ever again.

Unlike other electric cigs I’ve tried, they give a really nice mouthful of thick vapor.  The batteries are built to deliver the thickest vapor over any of the competition.  If you have used other e-cigs you’ll notice a huge difference when you take your first puff off this brand.

 

 

Tobacco Flavors Available – V2 Cigs Reviews:

The Red is their traditional domestic tobacco flavor that does have a rich tobacco taste.  When I first tasted the Red flavor, I thought it was very rich and thick in vapor.  The taste at first has an excellent blend of tobacco taste, but for me the after taste was more like a cigar taste.  Although, my opinion is partial because I truly like the more exotic and fruity ecig flavors.  Those flavors have become more typical among users over time.

 

 

Congress is a lot like the Red in that it also has the tobacco appeal, however it is more subtle; especially with the after taste.  I thought that it had a great name for it’s taste, as it is definitely parliamentarian in flavor.  The vapor produces a very thick cloud and can even be overbearing if the draw is too heavy.  However, with this tobacco taste it was more appealing for me because the after taste had a more ‘cigarette’ flavor versus the Red which to me tasted a little differently.

 

Sahara was ‘hands-down’ my most favorite of the tobacco flavors.  Even as a smoker I preferred the more Turkish brand tasting tobaccos that I ever did the domestic.  Although most brands were a mix of domestic and Turkish flavor.  The Sahara flavor has a very ‘Roast-like’ blend, with a very soothing and mild after taste.  The perfect blend for me!  The Sahara also produces a very thick cloud of vapor but it wasn’t as overbearing as the other two tobacco flavors that this brand offers.

 

The menthol flavor is perfect.  Most brands that offer menthol flavors put too much emphasis on wintergreen or winter-mint, instead they must have put a lot of time and effort into perfecting their menthol because it was absolutely perfect.  If you are a menthol fan then you will probably make the perfect transition to them because their menthol was just absolutely amazing.  This flavor also produces a very nice thick vapor when you take your draw, and it’s extremely soothing to the taste.  Highly recommended for the people that prefer menthol.

 

Exotic and Other Non-Tobacco Flavors:

A lot of brands offer a coffee flavor, but the V2 brand has really perfected their taste on this one.  The coffee refills have a very nice rich taste, much like a house-blend coffee in my opinion.  Add a little creamer and sugar and this has just the perfect taste to relax and coffee drinker!  Very enlightening to the senses and is my favorite flavor to vape!  That’s right, I’ve finally told everyone my favorite brand and flavor that I use, and I use it all the time.  Just a perfect blend!  The cartridge itself lasts about the same as one single pack of cigarettes and each draw creates just a magnificent and perfect amount of vapor.  A simple pleasure to test for our review.  I continue enjoying the coffee blend daily.

Another different taste that they have that I personally like but have mixed feelings amount as well is the Chocolate flavored cartridges.  The chocolate is a sweet chocolate taste that is sure to make a chocolate lover drool.  Like all the other flavors it comes in different strengths and produces a very full thick cloud of vapor per draw.  However, the only drawback to this flavor for me is that it begins to taste like burnt chocolate as the cartridge begins to run out.  I know that the cartridge probably still has about 30 – 45 more minutes of vaping left, but the taste becomes burnt.  So that’s what I meant by mixed feelings about this flavor.  It’s great, but toward the end of the life of the refill, you’ll have to cut your loss and change your cartridge prematurely.  That’s my opinion anyways.

The Cola refills are one of the flavors that they released about a year ago that completely knocked me backwards when I tasted it.  It has such a great taste that I just still get chills talking about it.  I like vaping this flavor, but not as often as I used to.  Not because it isn’t good or that it got old, but mostly because I really like my coffee flavor.  Anyways, the Cola produces a full, rich and thick cloud of vapor on each and every draw and the taste it just like tasting a cola flavored beverage.  A very unique taste that earns the marketing and development team at V2 extra applause because of just how great and right the taste is.

The Mint Tea flavor isn’t one of my personal favorites, but when I tried it out for the sake of the review it honestly wasn’t too bad.  The flavor itself remains really strong throughout the lifetime of the refill, meaning that the flavor never really softens and isn’t too bold at the begin either.  The tea side of the taste is very refreshing, in fact I would love to see them come out with a pure tea flavor.  It was very different and the tea alone would probably make me continue to buy those refills.  The mint inside this flavor isn’t really overbearing or biting, it’s a lot like the menthol mixed with peppermint to my taste buds, but it’s not too bad.  It refuses to overshadow the tea and they compliment one another very well.  Unfortunately for me, I’m not a menthol or a mint fan.

The peppermint flavor that will knock your socks off.  Almost quite literally.  As I mentioned before I am not a fan of peppermint so for this review I used one whole cartridge of Peppermint for the day and I was left with a headache.  This of coarse means that I personally am sensitive to the smell and taste of peppermint and it just really wasn’t for me.  However, for the sake of argument the taste was strong.  The cartridge produced a great amount of vapor for the Peppermint and it seemed to last forever.  Which was frustrating for me, however if you are a peppermint lover then I would think that you wouldn’t have a single problem using these refills.  The taste is a perfect peppermint, in all of it’s glory.  I was glad to finish testing the peppermint.

This leaves me with the Vanilla flavored refills.  The vanilla flavor was another one of the top flavors that I enjoyed using.  It doesn’t find it’s way to the mouth end of my ecig often because I’m usually using other flavors that I prefer more, but the vanilla was a satisfying addition inside my starter kit.  I may order a pack of vanilla’s every 4 or 5 months or so, but usually I just get a pack of the assorted flavors so that way I can enjoy some of the other flavors that I use.  Also, my girlfriend loves the flavors that I don’t care much for, so we can easily split a variety pack without complaining too much.   I know what your thinking too, opposites attract!  Ha!  Anyways, there is one thing about the Vanilla that I personally experience with each vanilla cartridge that I use, and that is that it is a lot like the Chocolate cartridges in the sense that it starts to taste burnt towards the end of it’s life before it’s time to throw it away.  So usually these two cartridges really don’t last me very long because I discard them a little before I know that they are actually finished.  All in all though, the Vanilla makes a really soothing, satisfying and enjoying vaping experience!

E-Liquid

V2 also offers E-cig Juice (also known as e-liquid) is also a hot item among buyers of the products.  This is just another reason why I love this brand.  They have everything to accommodate any type of e-cig user!  Anyways, the Platinum E-Liquid is always available in the v2 store in 25 ML containers.  They sell the blank cartridges in 5-packs for around $7.95 so you can just buy the E-Liquid at $16.95 and keep reusing the cartridges.  Which saves you even more money!

Many people are buying the e-liquids these days, and not just because it saves money, but also because it allows them to mix flavors together for a different type of twang!

Batteries

There is a small variety of batteries that includes different voltage levels, colors, and types (meaning manual or automatic activation).  Let first explain the activation type.  First there is the manual push-button activation, which consists of a button on the side of the battery that when pushed begins activating the disposable atomizer that is built into the cartridges.  When this happens, vapor is immediately being created for you to inhale.

I personally like the push button method, because it allows me to take less of a draw and I get a more full draw of vapor.  With the automatic activation method, the atomizer isn’t activated until you begin your draw from the electronic cigarette.   There is some speculation as to which is better, but it is all a matter of preference.  The only thing I don’t like about the manual switch is if I am working or have my hands busy and want to take a draw of vapor.  Whereas with the automatic batteries I can just leave it in my mouth and take my draw like a traditional cigarette.

The batteries come in a variety of sizes.  They offer the shorty cig which is about 100mm in length.  a little smaller than a non-filtered traditional cigarette when you do not have a cartridge attached.

They have a 110mm Standard Cig battery which is about the length of a filtered traditional cigarette, when a cartridge isn’t attached.  Then there is the Long Cig battery too which is 140mm in length.

The thing about these batteries is that while the shorty is lightweight and convenient to pack, it has a shorter charge time and produces less vapor than the other two ecig batteries.  The standard cig battery is a tad bit heavier, but still remains convenient to pack and has a longer battery life per charge and produces a strong thicker cloud of vapor than the shorty cig.  Then you have the Long Cig, which has the longest battery life, and produces a magnificently thick white cloud of vapor each time you take a draw.

I personally do not have a huge preference on choice of battery.  I use all three, and I just switch out regularly.  Even from the push-button to the automatic, it doesn’t really matter.  The batteries have a rather decent and astonishing charge time versus the competition when it comes to the other batteries that I have used for our reviews.

Accessories and Gear

V2 has a wide array of gear and accessories for all of your vaping needs.  They’ve really come a long way when it comes to additional supplies for their customers.  Even some neccessary items such as on the go chargers, including their Portable Charging Case and Portable Charging Case XL.  These are small carry cases with built in charging capabilites.  The XL model is the one I carry with me, mostly because it can charge my battery up to 8 times before I need to charge the case again.

The charging cases are not the only handy additional items they have to offer.  They also have lanyards to hang your e-cig around your neck.  Metal carry cases to carry additional batteries and refills with you.  Soft carry cases that zip along the side of them; and Metal carry cases XL in assorted colors for carrying more e-cig accessories with you on-the-go.

They also offer USB chargers, wall chargers and even car chargers all ranging from $7 – $15, to make recharging accessible no matter where you may be.

With all of these things being said, my opinion of V2 can appear somewhat biased, however they have a magnificent product line with extraordinary items, flavors, batteries and accessories to choose from.  And all with lower prices that beats out the competition.

Better yet, they’ve just announced recently that they are lowering their prices; then decided to keep their prices lowered forever!  Truly amazing.
